Third Millennium Resources has been offering affordable web design, internet and marketing consulting, business writing and desk top publishing services to professionals, Entrepreneurs and small and medium sized businesses in the mainstream business community for more than 15 years.
Before going out on her own,Third Millennium Resources President Lee Keil spent close to 20 years in the corporate business world where she held a variety of positions in operations, direct sales, national account sales, product marketing, sales and product training as well as management primarily in the fields telecommunications, data communications and office automation. An early adopter of all things technical, she began working on personal computers at NEC as early as the mid 1980's and operated a xerox digital typsetting computer in that time frame. Lee bought her first own personal computer in 1991 and created her first website in 1995 by manually programming every page. She has been hooked on marketing and the internet ever since.
She holds a Bachelors degree in Business with a concentration in Marketing. With an avid interest in gardening and horticulture, Lee took first took a class in landscape design at Wilson Tech which lead to additional courses in ornamental horticulture ( woody plants and herbacious perennials in particular) at SUNY Farmingdale where she considered pursuing a career in landscape design.
In November of 1995, Lee expanded her work in general marketing consulting by pursuing several ventures in niche publishing targeted towards the wholistic and alternative health markets. Her first publishing venture, The Third Millennium Calendar of Events which was designed as a vehicle through which metaphysical, holistic and spiritual practitioners could promote their talents, was sold on a subscription basis and through retail stores such as Borders Books and Book Revue. The Resource Guide for Enhanced Living, a later publication, was a free ad supported service directory distributed though health food stores, chiropractic offices and distributed free through the mail.
Lee lives on Long Island New York and is raising two children. Her first born will be entering Georgetown University in the Fall of 2010 with her second child following two years behind.
